The E282 machine tap produces British Standard Pipe fastening – G series threads in sizes from one eighth of an inch up to one and a half inches. It is made from premium powder metal High Speed cobalt, giving you superior performance and extended tool life, and is manufactured conforming to the German Institute for Standardization. Cleaner, more accurate threads are assured with a bright finish which prevents work piece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool. The straight flute design makes the E282 suitable for both through and blind holes and can be used for tapping in many materials incl. steels, aluminium, stainless steel.
