This is the Royal Smock Parka from ESSAY. Ventile twill is a high-spec military work fabric made from natural materials developed for the British military, offering water repellency, wind resistance, heat retention, durability, and breathability. It can be worn as rainwear.
The Royal Smock Parka was developed for operators supporting the takeoff and landing of fighter jets on the flight decks of British aircraft carriers in 1960. The vintage original was a pullover, but this version has a front opening for improved convenience. The silhouette is skillfully crafted with pattern cutting and sewing techniques for a refined fit.
Features include a hood, waist, and hem drawcord, adjustable cuffs, a front reverse zipper, hidden flap pockets at the waist, large-capacity waist pockets, a hood adjustment strap, hood adjustment buttons, and a chest snap button for securing headphone cables. The lining is fully lined. It has been washed and tumble-dried to conform to the body when worn. Includes the brand name, no washing instructions, and a card tag.
