French antique embroidered blouse

Antique French smock shirt from the early 1900s, a stunning piece with intricate detailing.

Purchased a few years ago from an antique shop in Paris, this is a beautiful item from around the 1900s. I've been collecting it ever since I got home, and I take it out from time to time to admire it.

The collar, chest, cuffs, and hem are adorned with cutwork and gold thread embroidery, giving a delicate impression.

Pleats are artfully placed on the shoulders and back, and the hem creates a relaxed flare shape. The voluminous puff sleeves, pintucks, and gathers add a lovely touch.

Made of thick cotton material with a nice texture.

Length is measured from the bottom of the collar, shoulder width is the straight line between the shoulder seams, sleeve length is from the shoulder seam to the cuff, and body width is measured from under the armpits.

No markings found, but I suspect it's thick cotton/linen.

● Condition:
Relatively good condition.

There is a chip on the first button under the collar.

Some stains may remain from storage, but it has been cleaned.

This is an old French blouse.
It's in good vintage condition considering its age, but please refrain from purchasing if you are not accustomed to vintage clothing or if you are looking for a perfect item.
