- INCLUDES CHARGING BLOCK AND BATTERY BACKUP FUNCTION - This alarm clock is compatible with 110V/120V power outlets and the necessary charging block is included (nothing extra to buy). There is a button cell battery CR2032 that is pre-installed and is used for the back up battery and the time settings. It is in a screw-secured cabinet at the bottom of the clock. This battery will last for several years. In case of power outage, the screen goes blank, but alarm and time settings are retained, and the alarm will still sound.
