Made in the USA The LM-30-9-5S-V2-FM from Larson Electronics is a High Wind Resistance Fixed Mount 5-Stage Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to thirty feet. This light tower collapses down to eight and a three quarter feet for easy transportation, features an articulating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and has a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The LM-30-9-5S-V2-FM is designed and built to have a high degree of wind resistance with the ability to handle 120 MPH gusts when fully collapsed and up to 70 MPH gusts when fully extended. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras and other electrical equipment in windy locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 30` for maximum area coverage and collapes to 9` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base stage 6.6` in length and 9" by 9" by 0.25" thick, second stage 6.9` in length and 7" x 7" x .1875" thick, third stage 7.19` in length and 5" x 5" x .188" thick, fourth stage 7.48` in length and 4" x 4" x .120" thick and fifth stage 7.90` in length and 3" x 3" x .125" thick. Each section has a 1`+ overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 3,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable.

The LM series of telescoping towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 18" by 18" by 1/4" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 9/16" anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 2.5" by 2.5" by .125" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. Wind Resistance: The LM-30-9-5S-V2-FM is designed and built to have a higher degree of wind resistance than other similar light towers from Larson Electronics. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 9`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When extended to the full height of 30` with a 50 pound payload and 11` by 11` wind sail, the LM-30-9-5S-V2-FM can survive nominal 35 MPH winds with gusts up to 70 MPH. This light tower weighs approximately 360 lbs and can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 9.5` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 1100 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 3,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
