This is a reverse weave with a "tack tag" from the early 1950s. It's one of the early types, with no material indication and "made in USA" printed on it, of which about four variations have been confirmed.
Although there's no material indication, it's 100% cotton. The color is oatmeal, and the neck and hem ribs appear slightly two-toned.
The sleeves have been cut off, so the overall condition is rated as poor, but the body has little wear and is fluffy, in very good condition. Being an old item, there are some faint stains that are not very noticeable, but they are present in places. There are no scratches or damage.
Even with the sleeves missing, it would probably still sell for several hundred thousand yen if the sleeves were attached.
Since there are no sleeves, it might be a good idea to layer it and wear it like a vest.
Shoulder width is about 46cm, body width is about 53cm, and length is about 63cm. Please allow for some margin of error.
