A collection of photographs by photographer Takashi Homma, featuring the windows of Le Corbusier's architecture. This photo book focuses on the scenery seen through the windows as a clue to re-experience the architect's perspective, which cannot be fully captured in ordinary architectural photographs. It introduces 20 of Le Corbusier's architectural works photographed by Homma, from the "Mother's House" overlooking the horizon of Lake Geneva in Switzerland to the "Chapel of Ronchamp," widely known for its stained glass in primary colors. In a contribution by Tim Benton, the exploration of beautiful framing by Le Corbusier, starting with the horizontal continuous window, is reviewed. A joint publication by the Window Research Institute, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and Walther König.
